In this 8X12inch Epoxy Resin Tray Workshop, participants will learn:

  1. Introduction to Epoxy Resin: Begin with an overview of epoxy resin, its properties, and its various applications in crafting.

  2. Safety Precautions: Emphasize the importance of safety when working with epoxy resin, including proper ventilation, wearing gloves and protective eyewear, and handling chemicals responsibly.

  3. Tray Preparation: Guide participants through the preparation process for the tray, including cleaning, sanding (if necessary), and ensuring the surface is free of dust and debris.

  4. Design Inspiration: Provide inspiration and ideas for designs, including techniques such as adding pigments, glitter, or other embellishments to the resin.

  5. Mixing Resin: Demonstrate the proper way to mix epoxy resin, including the correct ratio of resin to hardener and any additional additives.

  6. Pouring the Resin: Show participants how to pour the resin onto the tray evenly, avoiding air bubbles and ensuring complete coverage.

  7. Adding Decorative Elements: Encourage creativity by demonstrating how to incorporate decorative elements such as dried flowers, metallic flakes, or embedded objects into the resin.

  8. Resin Curing Process: Explain the curing process of epoxy resin and provide tips for ensuring a smooth and even finish, including techniques for removing any surface imperfections.

  9. Finishing Touches: Guide participants through the final steps of finishing the tray, including sanding any rough edges and applying a protective topcoat for durability and shine.

  10. Q&A Session: Allow time for participants to ask questions and troubleshoot any issues they may encounter during the workshop.
