Metallic art is a captivating and unpredictable form of abstract art that combines epoxy resin  with metallic pigments, creating shimmering, elegant, and one-of-a-kind pieces that evoke a range of emotions and invite viewers to engage with their dynamic beauty. 

Materials included in this workshop :

  • Acrylic Paints: These provide the base colors and fluidity for the artwork.

  • Metallic Pigments: These powders or paints contain metallic particles, such as gold, silver, or copper, to create the metallic effect.

  • Pouring Medium: A special medium that is mixed with acrylic paints to achieve the desired fluid consistency.

  • Canvas or Wood Panels: The surface on which the artwork is created.( 10 inch board)

  • Palette Knives or Stir Sticks: Used for mixing and manipulating the paint.

  • Cups or Containers: To hold and pour the paint mixture onto the canvas.

  • Blowtorch or Heat Gun: These tools are used to remove air bubbles and create interesting patterns by manipulating the paint's movement.

  • Protective Gear: Including gloves, aprons, and masks, to ensure safety when working with chemicals and paint.

  • Drop Cloths or Plastic Sheeting: To protect the work area from spills and drips.

  • Mixing Containers: Various containers for mixing and pouring the paint.

  • Leveling Tools: To ensure the canvas is level during the pouring and drying process.

These materials are essential for creating the stunning and dynamic effects seen in metallic fluid art.

It's beginner friendly workshop, no experience needed.

      • If you're arriving by Metro train, Kadugodi Tree Park Metro station is the closest .
      • From the station, our studio is a short walk to our premises.
      • Estimated travel time from the train station to our location: around 2 minutes.
    • Walking Directions
      • Once you reach Kadugodi Tree Park Metro station or GR Tech Park BMTC bus-stop, head towards ITPL road and take service road beside Bhagini Icon/Kotak Bank. After approximately 10-15 meters, you'll find us.
      • Look out for SV Atrium building, with sign Paint Cafe Studio at the entrance. We are located in 4th floor.
